What is the best way to order ?
Please call 413-229-7993... This is the most common and
best way to place an order.
Can I choose the colors I want to receive ?
Yes, to a certain degree you may have choice in the complexion
of your pound of beads. Please call for us to discuss what
colors you love and which you don't use very often.
Can I order less than a pound of beads ?
Other than a SAMPLE SET, our first time minimum order is
1/2 POUND OF BEADS in any combination of bead styles.
What is is an assorted mix ?
Approximately 400 beads of varying shape and color. There
will always be some pairs but the mix is random with mostly solid
color small chubbies. There will be 10 pairs of matched
tubes, some slices, and a good number of striped beads.
Can I request certain colors and leave some out ?
Yes..many people tell us to concentrate on the blues and purples
and go easy on yellow and orange. Thats fine with us.
The beads are all picked individually for each pound order so
we can accomodate your particular color needs.
Can I order a number of beads in just a few colors ?
Yes...you must call for us to discuss your order. We can specially
cut bead stock for you in the colors you request and all the
beads can match. There is no extra charge for this.
What is the most common order ?
The most common order is a ONE POUND ASSORTED MIX with all the
colors we provide. Generally... one third brights, one
third caribbean, and one third pastel. This will give you
the wideset variety of color to assemble your jewelry.
Are the beads sold by weight or number in a pound ?
The beads are sold by WEIGHT, so the number of beads in a pound
will decrease as the size of the individual beads increases.
What is your average delivery time ?
We try to fill your order within 1 week. If specific stock
is requested for cutting, an order can take up to 2 weeks.
Shipping:
We generally send orders via UPS or Priority Mail via the US
Postal Service. We can ship via FedEx at your request. For
most orders we add $8.00 for 1 - 3 lbs.
Do you sell other supplies ?
We make and sell ONLY our hand made glass beads. No other
jewelry making supplies are available through Penrose.
Larger Orders:
3, 5 and 10 pounds may be shipped over a period of 6 months.
This allows you to enjoy the quantity discount while ONLY paying
for the beads you receive. As seasons change you may also
want to get different colors in your bead mix to follow the new
season. You may, for example receive 2 pounds to start
and the remaining 3 over 6 months at 2 month intervals.
Refund Policy:
We want you to be satisfied with your order and welcome your
calls if something is not quite right. Within 2 WEEKS
of receiving your bead order, we will accept the entire shipment
back with only the charge we incurred for shipping the beads
to you. There is no extra re-stocking charge. You
may also send back a portion of the order if the colors were
not what you expected. We will either refund the charge
for these beads or send you others as a credit.
